Readymix Logo, Nullabor Plain. 2 mile long by 1 mile high. The world’s largest lettering was inscribed in the desert in 1965 by the Radymix concrete company as they sealed the Eyre Highway running between South Australia and Western Australia. The sign was formed by stripping the thin layer of topsoil of the plain away to reveal the limestone base of the Nullabor Plain beneath.
