Magenta (aka Pink) is not a colour

Magenta (aka Pink) is not a colour. It does not exist in the light spectrum and has no wavelength attributed to it. What we see is a result of the brain attempting to make sense of light comprised of both ends of the visible spectrum. [Update] Turns out, it is.
