I love this idea. Civilisation is an installation in the lift of the Standard Hotel in New York. As the lift ascends and descends, the video tracks along from heaven to hell. Not only is the content strikingly well done, but the idea of a video timeline being controlled by the vertical position of a lift car is inspired.
