Heh heh…I actually cut my web-teeth over at SkyscraperPage when I was in high school. They have a very active forum with a strong online community. The diagrams are separate from the forum, but the intermingle a lot. The bulk of the artists are doing it as a hobby. It’s also been around for over a decade, hence the size and prestige of the database.
