I saw this book at pro QM in Berlin, so if you happen to be around there, it’s a good place to snatch it up. unfortunately they have so much yummy stuff that it’ll ruin you.

Oh, and searching amazon.co.jp for “ç³¸å´Ž å…¬æœ—” will turn up all of Itozaki’s books if shipping from Japan isn’t prohibitive. Here in the States it is rather pricy if you aren’t buying a lot of items at once.

The top line of red text explains fotomo succinctly: “photograph + model = fotomo”. The next line is something like “3D photos that streets jump out of”.

Anyway, the title of this book is “Fotomo Streetcorners” and the author is Kimio Itozaki. itozaki.com is his website. The major headings there are event notices, blog updates, magazine serialiations, web links, books. “The Woald of FOTOMO” and “ï¼°ï½ˆï½�ï½”ï½� ï¼§ï½�ï½Œï½Œï½…ry [ï¼·ï½…ï½Œcome to Planet 60x]” are both articles about his work in English, worth checking out.

There is at least one more book in this series from the same publisher, ãƒ•ã‚©ãƒˆãƒ¢ã�®ç‰©ä»¶. Contains “Asakusa, Shibuya, Hong Kong, Trains, etc!”. There also look to be at least 2 more fotomo books out there…
